This isn’t your typical deep tissue/sports massage.
Sessions typically consist of a mixture of different techniques including but not limited to Neuromuscular Reprogramming (NMR),Craniosacral, and Esalen(R) massage and bodywork. Different techniques and diagnostic tools are used interchangeably to create a customized solution that best addresses the client’s objectives.
With NMR, muscle testing will be utilized to identify what the body’s compensation patterns are to create an accurate roadmap for more effective bodywork.
Session Rates (Starting Jan 2024)
60 minutes – $200
75 minutes – $240
90 minutes – $280
Note: Gratuity is not accepted for session payment. In circumstances in which gratuity is included in payment (e.g. pre-written checks), the additional funds will be used to subsidize sessions for Oakland teachers and social workers.

FAQ:
How often should I come in?
For more chronic pain conditions, sessions are recommended weekly until symptoms resolve (typically 4-6 weeks). The quicker succession of sessions maximizes the effectiveness as it minimizes time checking over work. For general wellness and maintenance, monthly sessions are appropriate.
Do you do prenatal or pregnancy massage?
Absolutely! I enjoy supporting my clients through their pregnancies and want to provide therapeutic massage (i.e. not spa) while their bodies are changing.
What do you do that’s different?
I focus on trying to find the source of the pain, rather than massage all over for relief. Often, the pain that brings a client in is a symptom of a more deeply rooted muscular imbalance. With addressing the true source of the pain, the short term pain relief that massage typically is expected to bring, now can be utilized to create long-lasting effective change.
What are your accepted methods of payment?
I prefer cash or check. I do accept card payments however, there is an added processing fee.
Do you take insurance?
Receipts and invoices can be issued for HSA/FSA & insurance reimbursement.
What are your late/cancellation policies?
Late-Cancel Policy: To be fair to other clients, appointments cancelled under 24 hours will be charged in full. Cancellation due to Covid will be accepted at any point without penalty.
